Seedance 2.5 — Thirty Seconds, One Consistent Cast

ByteDance's newest video model: clips up to 30 seconds, characters and products that stay consistent from your reference images, first and last frame control, and audio generated with the picture — from text, a photo, or a clip you want to extend.

Why generate it here instead of going direct?

You could go straight to ByteDance. Then you'd need a second subscription for Kling O3, a third for Veo 3.1, and a fourth for image generation.

Most real projects use more than one model — you draft on something fast and cheap, then finish on something expensive. Plurel puts eight video models and four image models on a single balance, so you switch models instead of switching accounts.

  • One balance, every model.
  • No subscription required. Credits don't expire.
  • Nothing to install. No API keys, no waitlist.
  • Everything else included — images, upscaling, background removal, headshots and PDFs draw on the same credits.

What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's flagship video model, introduced at the 2026 Volcano Engine FORCE conference. Its two headline advances are length — a single generation can run 30 seconds instead of a few — and reference control: it reads up to 50 reference images, videos and audio clips and keeps the characters, products, styles and brand assets in them consistent across the whole scene. It also supports first- and last-frame control, reference-based editing that transforms a scene while preserving the people and objects in it, and a 3D white-model mode for previewing layout and camera paths before the final render. On Plurel you can use Seedance 2.5 instantly with no API key or separate subscription.

What Seedance 2.5 Can Create

Up to 30 seconds in one take

Enough for a complete beat — an arrival, a reveal, a conversation — instead of stitching four-second fragments together.

Reference control

Feed it images of a character, a product or a style and they stay recognizable through the whole clip. Up to 50 references across image, video and audio.

First and last frame

Pin where the shot begins and where it ends; the model moves between them with natural motion.

Reference-based editing

Upload a clip and describe the change — new setting, new weather, new wardrobe — while the people and objects in it are preserved.

Native audio

Ambience, effects and dialogue generated with the video and timed to it, not added after.

Seedance 2.5 Prompt Ideas to Get You Started

🚶 A full scene, one take

A woman in a green coat walks out of a subway exit into evening rain, opens a red umbrella, crosses the street and pauses at a lit café window, then smiles at someone inside. Continuous handheld follow shot, city ambience and rain audio. 20 seconds.

🏛️ Architecture flythrough

A slow spiral descent through a white spiral staircase from above, daylight through the skylight, shadows sweeping across the steps as the camera turns. Clean, minimal, architectural. 15 seconds.

🧸 Character from references

Using the reference images of the plush spotted dog, show it peeking over a kitchen counter at a bowl of food, ears lifting with curiosity, then hopping down. Warm morning light, gentle sound.

🎬 First to last frame

Start on the first frame, a closed wooden door in a dim hallway. End on the last frame, the same doorway open onto a sunlit garden. Slow push-in, the door swinging open at the midpoint, birdsong rising.

🌧️ Edit a clip

Using the reference video, keep the two people and their conversation exactly as they are but change the setting to a vineyard at golden hour.

📦 Product with consistent identity

Using the reference images of the sneaker, a 360° turntable reveal on white, cut to a macro of the stitching, cut to it landing on wet pavement mid-stride. Sharp commercial look, subtle whoosh transitions. 12 seconds.
